Don’t Expel Bullied Gay Teen!
Darnell “Dynasty” Young has been bullied for months — it has sometimes gotten so bad that he has thought about suicide.
His mother contacted the school but instead of taking appropriate action, asked Darnell to “tone down” his accessories. That is victim blaming.
Not knowing what to do, his mother sent him to school with a stun gun because he didn’t feel safe. On April 16, 6 students surrounded him threatening violence. He pulled out the stun gun and raised it in the air, setting off an electric charge. He did not use it on anyone — he simply scared them away, protecting himself.
Young was soon arrested and taken away in handcuffs. He is now facing expulsion from the school.
Please tell Arsenal Technical High School to not expel Young — who hurt no one and was just trying to protect himself — and to change their school’s bullying policy to offer more protection for LGBT youth. No one should feel unsafe at school!

I tried to resist but I had to reblog. Someone commented on the article as follow:
Finally, and this is a fair view, not one from a hater, this kid seems a bit confused about his gender identity and expression. If he’s just gay, then why all the clearly feminine accessories he brings and shows like his mother’s rings and her purses? Those aren’t “gay” per sec but transgender expressions. Is he gay or transgender? (and yes someone can be both). Other than that he look fairly masculine so he’s not trying to pass as a girl so the expression he seems to prefer right now is very mixed.
Trying to be strongly looking male but with clear feminine accessories sends very mixed signals to other students, and that’s bound to create confusion, distance, and disdain in many students. While that isn’t any excuse for bullying, threats or attempting to harm someone but one is clearly painting a target on themselves for something that isn’t conductive towards being gay or transgender/transsexual. There’s better ways to be either one. Not saying to “man up” but find other ways to express his gay self would go a long ways towards surviving at school. If not he will likely be expelled or beaten up regardless of any rules.
Is she fucking serious? This bitch thinks she’s so smart and fair by dictating how one should expresses their identity. Who do you think you are to define what’s gay, what’s transgender?
I’m not good with words and I don’t really understand all the LGBT issues so Ima stop talking. But from my common sense, the person above sounds fucking stupid.
